Course Description

Aquatic Supervisor certification prepars instructors and lifeguards for front-line supervisory responsibilities in aquatic facilities. The course provides the knowledge, skills and tools required by aquatic team leaders who oversee instructional and recreational programs on a day-to-day basis.

Course Dates:

Tuesday May 5, 2026 (5:00pm - 9:30pm)

Tuesday May 12, 2026 (5:00pm - 9:30pm)

Tuesday May 19, 2026 (5:00pm - 9:30pm)

Prerequisites: 

Candidates for the new Aquatic Supervisor must hold:

• Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor or Lifesaving Instructor

• and National Lifeguard certifications

• Guide to Ontario Public Pools Regulation

• and Alert: Lifeguarding in Action (received during original National Lifeguard course)
